Airport to Kitulgala
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to Kitulgala, the adventure capital of Sri Lanka set along the Kelani River.
Kitulgala Adventures
Full day of adrenaline: Grade 3-4 white water rafting on the Kelani River, jungle canyoning through waterfalls, and river tubing.
Kitulgala to Ella
Board the scenic highland train through tea estates and mountain mist to Ella. Settle into your hillside accommodation.
Ella Adventure Day
Morning at the Flying Ravana zipline, one of Asia's longest. Afternoon mountain cycling through tea estate roads and an evening Sri Lankan cooking class.
Ella to Udawalawe
Drive to Udawalawe National Park for an afternoon elephant safari. Spot herds of wild elephants, water buffalo, and crocodiles.
Udawalawe Camping
Full day safari and overnight wilderness camping in the Udawalawe buffer zone, sleeping under stars to the sounds of the wild.
Udawalawe to Sinharaja
Visit the Elephant Transit Home rehabilitation centre. Continue to the edge of the Sinharaja Rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Sinharaja Forest Exploration
Full day guided trek through Sri Lanka's last viable area of primary tropical rainforest, spotting endemic birds, reptiles, and rare flora.
Sinharaja to Colombo
Depart Sinharaja and drive to Colombo. Afternoon at leisure for shopping or sightseeing. Farewell dinner.
Departure
Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure.
