Day 1: AIRPORT / KALPITIYA - Approximate travel time 03-04 Hours

Helanka Vacations representative will meet you at the arrival lounge and transfer to Kalpitiya. Arrival time to be update. The land beyond the shore. This quaint town rests upon land that stretches beyond the main embodiment of Sri Lanka (off the Puttalam district). Stop by the Bar reef where many keen divers and snorkelers of varying experience swim through crystal clear waters to view the jaw-dropping bio-diversity of what rests beneath the horizon. Kalpitiya is also famed for its portfolio of watersports activities available for both family fun and the adrenaline-fueled individual.

Most who visit Kalpitiya come for one thing that makes any tour one for the ages. Off the shores of Kalpitiya reside one of nature’s most awe-inspiring coalitions between the graceful spinner dolphin and our next addition to the Big Five; the gargantuan sperm whale. Spot pods of up to a hundred dolphins grazing the water whilst the sperm whale monitors the surroundings all on a boat ride off the Kalpitiya shore.

Kalpitiya consists of 14 islands each exemplifying its collective stunning natural beauty.

Day 2: KALPITIYA

Early morning set on a boat trip to watching Dolphins.

Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Rest of the day leisure at the beach or by the poolside.

Day 3: KALPITIYA / TRINCOMALEE - Approximate travel time 04 - 05 Hours

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and proceed to Trincomalee. Trincomalee, is one of the finest natural deep-water harbors in the world. Trincomalee is home to the fine beaches of Nilaveli, Uppuveli and the off-shore Pigeon Island. Trincomalee has also become a popular whale watching destination.

Enjoy your stay by partaking in diving, snorkeling, and swimming and relaxing.

Day 4: TRINCOMALEE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Leisure at the beach or by the poolside.

Afternoon set on a city tour in Trincomalee.

A drive through the Trincomalee city will take you to Fort Fredrick which was built in 1624 and is now an army garrison. The famous Koneswaram Temple, built atop ‘Swamy Rock’ (a rocky promontory cape) overlooking Trincomalee, is at least 2400 years old. Lover’s leap, a rock cleft near the temple also provides for scenic viewings from the temple grounds. The World War 2 cemetery situated on a slope is on a beautiful site backed by trees and is well maintained. The Sri Pathrakali Amman Temple is a colourful and vibrant temple with market stalls at the entrance.

Return to the hotel and leisure.

Day 5: TRINCOMALEE

Leave hotel at 05.45am.

You will be taken to embark on a voyage of unforgettable sights while whale watching in Trincomalee. (Seasonal).

Enjoy breakfast on board while returning back.

After boat safari, return to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight accommodation at the hotel.

Day 6: TRINCOMALEE / NEGOMBO - Approximate travel time 05-06 Hours

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Negombo. En route visit Dambulla Cave temple.

Dambulla Cave Temple, was declared a World Heritage site in 1991. The Cave Temple had first been constructed during the reign of King Vattagamini Abhaya. There are 5 caves in the temple and 157 statues of the Lord Buddha, with paintings on the ceilings and walls of the cave. The paintings of the cave highlight the past of Lord Buddha.

Arrive to Negombo and check into the hotel. Negombo is situated by the shores of a lagoon which was once a trading port for Portuguese and Dutch. The economy of Negombo is mainly based on its centuries-old fishing industry, though it also produces cinnamon, ceramics, and brassware. Overnight accommodation.

Day 7: NEGOMBO / AIRPORT - Approximate travel time 20 minutes

Early morning visit the Negombo city and the fish market and return to the hotel for breakfast. Thereafter you will be transferred to the Airport to connect with your departure flight. Departure flight time and hotel leaving time to be update. ...End of the tour...
