Welcome and assistance by Helanka Vacations representative, transfer to Kitulgala. In Kitulgala there are plenty of adventure activities that include white water rafting, bird watching, jungle walks, canyoning, confidence jumping, waterfall abseiling, rain forest trekking, mountain cycling, zip lining and river bathing. Kitulgala is most famous for their white-water rafting and other water activities that double as great team building experiences. Kitulgala is also home to about 54 rare species of birds, some endemic species are the Spurfowl and Green-billed Coucal. Varieties of fruits and vegetables are also grown in the village of Kitulgala.

Arrive and check in to Adventure Base Camp Kitulgala.

Rest of the afternoon relax at Base Camp.

Dinner and overnight stay in Kitulgala.

After an early breakfast at the Base Camp ready to start your activities.

Includes    : 5 Km white water rafting / Cannoning (Trekking, Sliding, and Confidence Jumping) / Tubbing / Village tour. Evening free for river bating. Dinner and overnight stay in Kitulgala.

After an early breakfast advance to Nanu Oya Railway Station to board the train to Ella (Train journey takes approximate 4 hours – Train tickets are strictly subject to availability)

Arrive in to Ella Railway Station, upon arrival guests will be met by their chauffeur guide and transfer to Ella Adventure Park.

Late evening guest can take part in a Cookery Demonstration organized by the Lodge and real taste real Sri Lankan Dinner.

Overnight stay in Ella.

After Breakfast enjoy waterfall nature trek, zip line, bird watching, meditation and cycling tour organized by Ella Adventure Park.

Return to Camp site.

Rest of the evening relax at Camp Site and enjoy a BBQ Dinner.

Overnight stay at Ella.

(Approximate travel time 2-3 Hours) Breakfast at the Camp Site, thereafter proceed to Udawalawe. Arrive and check in to a Hotel in Udawalawe. Afternoon start your Safari Tour of Udawalawe National Park. Udawalawa, an important habitat for Elephants and is ideal for bird watching. Udawalawe National Park covers 30,821 hectares. The park is home to the Rusty-spotted cat, Fishing cat, Leopard, Sloth bear, Sambar deer, Wild boar and Water buffalo. Endemic birds such as Spurfowl, Red-faced malkoha, Grey hornbill, Brown-capped babbler, Jungle fowl black-capped and Kingfisher can also be found here. Dinner and overnight stay at a Hotel in Udawalawe.

After breakfast visit the Elephant Transit Home in Udawalawe, thereafter proceed to Sinharaja.

The Sinharaja Forest, experience an adventurous walking trek at the popular Sinharaja rain forest, identified as an important biodiversity hotspot. The temperature of this UNESCO world heritage site varies from 19°C to 34°C. This tropical rain forest is believed to be home for almost 50% of Sri Lanka’s endemic flora and fauna. The few that could be found are; Sambar, Porcupine, Otter, Squirrels, Mongoose, Civets, Bandicoot, Pangolin and many reptiles. Sinharaja has recorded over 154 species of birds and is known to have ‘mixed-species feeding flocks’ where two or more species feed and move together.

Arrive and check in to the lodge.

Relaxation.

Dinner and overnight stay in Sinharaja.

(Approximate travel time 4 – 5 hours) Early morning proceed on a Trekking tour of the Sinharaja Forest. Return back to Lodge for breakfast / relax for few hours, thereafter proceed to Colombo. Arrive and check in to a Hotel in Colombo for dinner and overnight stay. Day 08 – Colombo / Airport – (Approximate travel time 1 hour). Morning relax by the Pool or free for shopping around Colombo. Late in the afternoon proceed to Airport in time for your departure flight.
